How Can We Help The Artistic Development of Children In Our Life?
I have created an Infographic that speaks about what influences the artistic development of children. My research reveals that there are many, and several of them have to do with the adults in their lives. If you care about field of art and artists, you may want to nurture the artistic development of children in your life by giving them plenty of exposure to art. Bring them to museums, galleries, and fairs to expose them to a variety of art. Also, you should be sure they are provided with plenty of materials, space, and time to be allowed to play with the materials allowing them to explore and create with no fear of judgement or grades attached. Parents should be willing to allow messes to be made occasionally, spread newspapers around, have kids throw on an apron or old shirt. Almost every kind of paint and clay are washable anyway. I have middle school and high school students who are timid about using clay or paint because they have been told for years not to get messy. Having a parent, grandparent, or other family member who is in the arts, or who has artistic outlets of any sort, are often shared and passed down to younger generations. If you have a talent, take the time to share it and bond with the child in your life. It will benefit bot
